Welcome to our Online Learning FAQ page. Here you'll find helpful information about getting started, accessing your course, and understanding how we protect your data.
To make sure you have the best experience with our online courses, please ensure the following:
If you have purchased a course yourself and entered your email address, you should receive an automated course enrolment invitation email with a link. If you are required to complete a course through your organisation and multiple places have been purchased, someone may allocate a place in a course to you. If this is the case, you should receive an automated enrolment invitation.
Yes. Our courses can be accessed on most modern smartphones and tablets. However, we recommend using a desktop or laptop for the best experience.
Click the "Lost password?" link on the course login page to request a password reset. If the reset email doesn’t arrive within 30 minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Still no email? Contact us at phoenix-training@unimelb.edu.au or via our Training Enquiry form, and include your name, email address, and the name of your course.
First, check that your setup meets the technical requirements listed above. Also, keep in mind that access to the course is available for six (6) months from the date of enrolment. If that time has passed, your access will have expired. If everything appears in order but you still can’t access the content, contact us and we’ll help troubleshoot the issue.
Please make sure you have enrolled into the course before accessing Moodle (our learning management system). To enrol, please click on the link in the course enrolment invitation email that you should have received. If you have previously enrolled, your access to the course may have expired.
For technical issues or questions about course access, email us at phoenix-training@unimelb.edu.au or use our Training Enquiry form.
