About this course
This 5-hour online course explores evidence-based approaches to assessment, formulation, and treatment planning for clients with trauma-related mental health conditions. It provides guidance on using reliable assessment methods, making accurate diagnoses, and developing formulation-driven treatment plans that address individual client needs. Strengthening these skills enhances clinical practice and supports the effective delivery of evidence-based treatments, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). The course also emphasises the importance of applying a trauma-informed lens in clinical practice to support recovery and improve client outcomes.
