About this course

This 90-minute online course introduces the fundamentals of Trauma-informed Practice (TIP), helping you recognise the effects of trauma and apply supportive strategies in your workplace. Many clients in service industries such as housing, legal services, and insurance have experienced trauma. While your role may not involve directly providing trauma-specific care, you are likely to interact with people affected by trauma. Understanding their needs and responding sensitively can create a more supportive environment and lead to better outcomes.
