About this Course

Trauma can deeply affect students’ mental health, behaviour, and ability to learn. Trauma-informed Practice (TIP) equips schools to address these challenges by fostering safe, supportive environments where students can thrive, and staff feel valued. This 90-minute online course provides school staff with practical knowledge and tools to understand trauma and its impacts. You’ll learn strategies to promote wellbeing, resilience, and recovery for students while exploring self-care techniques to protect your own mental health.
